Description
Tension bands are used to attach the chain link fence fabric to line posts and terminal posts. They are commonly used to attach chain link fabric to the uprights of gate frames, temp fence panels and dog kennels. Fence tension bands should be spaced 12-18″ apart. As a rule of thumb, you should use one less tension band than the height of fence you are installing (i.e. a 6′ high fence uses 5 tension bands).
Regular tension bands require a 5/16″ x 1-1/4″ carriage bolt. Heavy duty tension bands require a 3/8″ x 1-1/2″ carriage bolt.
